Hyssop

Hyssop leaves have a slightly bitter liquorice- minty flavour and can be added to all sorts of dishes including soups, salads, or meats, use sparingly, as the flavour is very strong.

Hyssop flowers are delicious in a green salad.

Try using a teaspoon full of chopped leaves in a Yorkshire pudding mix.

Use the leaves in fruit syrup to infuse and then discard, this can then be used to add an extra layer of flavour to your salad or fruit.
