Open Day 2019
Wow, what a fantastic Open Day! Thank you to everyone who joined us and a huge thank you to Stephanie Moon, Josh Whitehead from Harewood Food & Drink & Nick Brown, Development Chef from The Black Swan at Oldstead who made some fantastic dishes showcasing our speciality herbs. Even though the weather wasn’t brilliant it didn’t spoil the day! It was great to see so many of our wholesale and manufacturing costumers along with a fantastic crowd of chefs join us, I hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
We started off with welcome drinks from Chris & Rose Bax from Bax Botanics who served their Lemon Verbena with our fresh Lemon Verbena & Sea Buckthorn served with our Marigold & Tagete edible flowers. So a huge thank you to them!
We then had 3 tours; speciality salad tunnel, speciality herbs in the greenhouse & a tractor tour around the fields which was a little chilly! Followed by a delicious menu of food showcasing our speciality herbs.
